Redneck Zombies is a 1987 very low budget independent horror comedy trash film directed by Pericles Lewnes and released by Troma Entertainment.

The budget for this movie was so low estimated 10,000 that the filmmakers could only afford one breakaway candy glass bottle. The filmmakers sent the movie to several releasing corporations, in order to get the film released, but all of whom turned it down. Finally, Troma picked up the movie. Troma was the original distributor the filmmakers sent the film to. This film was shot indays on weekends over the course of a year.The film was released on VHS and DVD by Troma Entertainment. A new 20th anniversary edition of the film was released on DVD January 27, 2009. It includes the never before released soundtrack on CD. ........
